Ludovica - Herbaceous Peony
(Saunders, 1941)
Semi-Double, Pink, Midseason, 20” tall.
Large, cup-shaped, semi-double of a clear, light rose pink color. This is one of the very best lobata hybrids for the garden. An excellent variety because of its wonderful plant habits, short but strong upright stems, healthy foliage and flowers that seem impossibly big for such a short statured plant. American Peony Society Gold Medal Winner in 1999.
